Tulloch

The Tulloch story began in 1838 when James Tulloch arrived in Australia from his homeland of Scotland and settled in Camberwell.

James’ grandson, John Younie (J.Y.) Tulloch owned the Branxton General Store and accepted an unusual settlement of a debt – a 43 acre property in nearby Pokolbin. Tulloch took an immediate liking to the property and the five acres of neglected Shiraz vines it contained and undertook his first foray into viticulture and winemaking.

At Tulloch you don’t just do a wine tasting, you have a wine experience. The cellar door team make sure that guests have a great experience, every time. That’s why Tulloch are the only Cellar Door to have won the Cellar Door of the Year Award twice.

Tulloch call it edutainment; a unique hybrid of education and entertainment pioneered at Tulloch by listening and learning from our guests and understanding that no two are the same.

Tulloch provide a bespoke tasting experience tailored to every individual, so if you want to learn, laugh or languish, they will look after you in one of their unique tasting spaces and help you get the most out of your visit.

You can stand at the bar for a quick peruse through the extensive range of products, relax and enjoy yourselves in one of the beautifully appointed tasting spaces. Fireside in winter, on the balcony in summer, down stairs getting serious in the Tasting Lab with a group, or enjoying the luxurious private surrounds of 1895 Members Lounge if you are part of the club.
